Traffic police in Burdur took a disabled young man around in a police vehicle on April 23.

Disabled Cem Özen, who went to Cumhuriyet Square with his father to watch the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day ceremony, saw the traffic vehicle waiting in the area and went to them and showed affection.

The traffic police, who could not remain indifferent to this situation, put Özen into the police vehicle. The traffic team took Özen around the city for a while. Özen’s joy was recorded by the police team on a mobile phone camera.

Burdur Police Department also shared the images on their social media accounts.

Özen’s father, Özcan Özen, thanked the AA reporter and the Police Department and stated that his son was very happy.

Stating that his son always gets excited and salutes when he sees police vehicles, Özen said, “It was an unforgettable memory for my son on April 23, and we were touched when we saw the image on social media. Thank you very much.” he said.
