Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch teams started an operation to catch the suspects who were found to have committed fraud by converting an office in the Akdeniz district into a call center. 7 suspects, who were identified as ‘police’, ‘military’ and ‘prosecutor’ and defrauded Turkish citizens living in Germany of their bank money and real estate, were caught during the operation. During the searches made at the suspects’ addresses, 2 unlicensed pistols, 1 blank cartridge, 3 magazines and 40 cartridges, 16 mobile phones, 16 laptops, 6 flash memories, 20 bank cards, 12 sim cards, 10 memory cards, 1 high capacity external disk, 5 agendas. Documents containing citizens’ identity and bank card information were seized. The detained suspects were taken to the police station for processing.
