According to information obtained from diplomatic sources; 87 Turkish and TRNC citizens in Gaza passed through the Rafah Border Gate and reached Egypt.
The Turkish Airlines plane, carrying 27 TRNC and 60 Turkish citizens and taking off from Cairo Airport, landed at Istanbul Airport.
Turkish and TRNC citizens were welcomed at the airport by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and AFAD officials.
Citizens evacuated from Gaza were served tea and cookies at the airport.
After passport control, some citizens left the airport with the allocated buses, while TRNC citizens and those whose residences were in other provinces were placed in hotels determined by AFAD.
