Bolu Cuisine Made a Taste Feast in Batman

Bolu was represented by a special team determined by the University Rectorate at the Batman Gastronomy and Culture and Arts Festival, organized by Batman Governorship between 20-26 November 2023 with the theme “The vaccine of 100 years, the brotherhood of a thousand years”.

Bolu’s Products Became the Center of Attention in Batman

Bolu culinary culture and local products were also exhibited at the festival, where culinary culture from seven regions of Turkey was exhibited and took place with great participation. In the special team formed by the Rectorate of Abant İzzet Baysal University, Mengen Vocational School Director Assoc. Dr. Under the chairmanship of Osman Çavuş, Gastronomy Department students Önder Göktürk, İsmail Polat, Efe Yeşil and Osman Kerim Kara took part.

A Cultural Bridge Was Established Between Bolu and Batman

At the event, geographically indicated products from all districts of Bolu and menus created from these products were exhibited. Products such as Bolu kanlica mushroom, Kıbrıscık rice, Mengen cheese, Göynük bombay beans, Bolu keşi and noodles, Gerede şakşak halva, Bolu hazelnut candy, cranberry tarhana were introduced and offered to the guests.
