Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen’s investments in sports since the day he took office are bearing fruit. Blue-white kickboxers, under the management of coach Emre Şahin, won 8 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals in Konya.

While Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Youth Sports Club was blowing like a storm in kick boxing, it narrowly narrowed the tatami field to its rivals in Konya.

Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Sekmen, who has been supporting sports regardless of branch since the day he took office, is proud of the successful results achieved by the athletes and teams. Metropolitan Municipality Youth Sports Kick Boxing Team, headed by Ahmet Dal, rose to prominence in Konya. The blue-white athletes, who went on the tatami under the management of Coach Emre Şahin, got off the tatami by winning 17 medals.

17 medals in one championship

‘1.’ was held in Konya between 17-19 November 2023 with the participation of approximately 15 provinces. In the Interprovincial Kickboxing Championship, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Youth Sports Club Kickboxing Team completed the championship by receiving 8 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals. Blue-white kickboxers and coach Emre Şahin, who broke a record by winning 17 medals in a championship, were very happy. Making Dadaş’s heart proud with the Metropolitan Municipality Youth Sports Club Kickboxers have already started preparations for greater success.

Underlining that Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Kickboxing Team completed the Interprovincial kickboxing championship by receiving 8 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, Coach Emre Şahin said, “We would like to thank our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen, who has always supported us and instilled morale until today.
