2 people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred as a result of a truck violating a red light and crashing into a car in Aksaray.

The accident occurred at Büyük Bölcek Mahallesi Kapadokya Boulevard Sanayi Köprülü Junction. According to the information obtained, the truck with plate 68 ADF 052, driven by SE (23), traveling from the direction of Büyük Bölcek District to Aratol Bahçeli District, violated the red light while turning at the intersection and crashed into the car with plate number 68 HZ 455, driven by Aziz T. (69), who was going in the opposite direction. As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and his wife Cevriye T. (64), who was a passenger in the vehicle, were slightly injured. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notice of the surrounding citizens who saw the accident. The injured were treated by medical teams in an ambulance.

Describing the accident, car driver Aziz T. said, “I am coming from the hospital. The truck driver also passes the red light. He hits us directly in the middle of the road.”
