Nimet Yeşilöz, who got out of the car that hit the dog that jumped onto the road on the Anatolian Highway in Bolu, was hit by another speeding car. Yeşilöz, who was seriously injured, died in the hospital where he was taken. The accident occurred around 16:00 in front of Yedigöller Recreation Facility on the Anatolian Highway. The car with plate number LB TI 4206, whose driver’s name was unknown, was going from Istanbul to Ankara and hit the dog that suddenly appeared on the road. Nimet Yeşilöz (68), who was a passenger in the vehicle, got out of the car to look at the dog. Meanwhile, the car with plate number 34 BLT 522, coming quickly behind her, hit the woman. While Yeşilöz was seriously injured due to the impact, police, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area after the accident. Nimet Yeşilöz, who was referred to the hospital by medical teams, could not be saved despite all the intervention. An investigation has been launched into the accident.
