The stand with Amethyst stone and other precious stones, which was brought to the economy after the course opened by the Public Education Center in Aydıncık district of Yozgat, was once again one of the favorites of the Yozgat Marriage and Furniture Fair.
The ornaments in the stand, which is definitely frequented by the visitors who come to see Turkey’s local car TOGG, are also of great importance in terms of being the best examples of what women can achieve when given the opportunity.
Aydıncık Amethyst and Semi-Precious Stones Processing and Promotion Association and Aydıncık Women’s Initiative Cooperative President Nimet Türker said that they are making efforts to bring stones such as amethyst, quartz, chalcedony and agate mined in their districts to the economy.
Stating that the women who study at the courses opened in Aydıncık Public Education Center process the stones, Türker said, “After being processed by the skillful hands of our trainees, we offer our products such as necklaces, rings, rosaries and table name holders for sale at our Aydıncık Amethyst and Semi-Precious Stones Processing and Promotion Association. We also evaluate the incoming requests and deliver the materials we produce to the relevant authorities and people. The women in our course both gain a profession and support the livelihood of their homes.”
Stating that they were very pleased with the attention of the stand opened by Aydıncık Amethyst and Semi-Precious Stones Processing and Promotion Association and Aydıncık Women’s Initiative Cooperative, Türker urged the visitors to take those who want to see these beautiful ornaments and make their relatives happy.
