Election Security Meeting was held in Burdur

Under the chairmanship of Burdur Governor Ali Arslantaş, an election security meeting was held with the participation of District Governors and law enforcement unit chiefs before the second vote in the Presidential election to be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

At the meeting, the measures covering the day before, during and after the voting day were reviewed in order to ensure that the 2nd round of voting in the Presidential election takes place in an atmosphere of peace and security in Burdur. The meeting ended after mutual exchange of views at the meeting where additional measures to be taken were evaluated.

Governor Arslantaş made an assessment at the end of the meeting; He stated that their aim is to ensure that the second round election is completed in a democratic environment in Burdur, in the healthiest way, in an atmosphere of peace and trust, as in the election held on May 14.

Stating that the election measures taken in the center and in the districts will be followed closely by all authorized units with great sensitivity, Governor Arslantaş stated that a sufficient number of personnel has been assigned and that all measures related to election security will be meticulously implemented.
