In Edirne, the citizens of the CHP organization invited the President to vote in the 2nd round election with the “red-bottom candle”, which is one of the traditions of the Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling.
CHP Edirne Deputy Ediz Ün and party members visited the shopkeepers on Saraçlar Street.
Having chatted with tradesmen and citizens, Ün and party members asked for support for Presidential candidate and CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in the Presidential 2nd round election to be held on Sunday, 28 May.
The party members, who toured the street with the Kırkpınar March played by the drum and zurna team, invited the citizens to vote with a “red-bottomed candle”, which is one of the traditions of the Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling.

CHP Edirne Central District Chairman Olcay Bakkalcı stated that 11 percent of the voters did not go to the polls in the elections on 14 May.
Explaining that those who do not go to the polls are a number that will affect the fate of the election, Bakkalcı noted that all citizens should go to the polls and take care of the ballot box.
