Mahir Akdere, Head of the Army Provincial Party of the Country Party, announced that he resigned from the party along with 149 people consisting of presidents and members from 11 districts.

I apologize to these young people, my young friends, for disappointing their hope. I do not give my right to any of my friends who are on duty from the party council and VQA members, especially the Chairman Muharrem İnce.” said.
“As of today, about 150 people have parted ways from the party”
Akdere said that he and 150 people, consisting of district heads and members in 11 districts, have resigned as of today and that these resignations will continue.
Akdere, “About two and a half years ago, in the journey we started with our President Muharrem İnce with the country movement, we are against the attitude of the president saying ‘I am withdrawing from the presidential candidacy’ with the last 3 days before the elections, and leaving us and the people who hope for him in the middle by remaining neutral in the process we live in. We said that as the provincial chairman, as the founding provincial chairman of this party, we had a reaction. As of today, we have parted ways with the Homeland Party. From now on, only and only the future of our country is the future of our youth.” said.
“We do not halal our rights”
Akdere continued his statement as follows:
“There was a group behind us that had a very serious hope for us with our young people. I was a provincial president who served in Ordu with 1,400 members. We have destroyed the hope of the young people who put their hope in us, who spent time with us day and night. I apologize to these young people, my young friends, for disappointing their hope. I do not give my right to any of my friends who are on duty from the party council and VQA members, especially the Chairman Muharrem İnce. I don’t give my right to my young friends, either. Because we did not do politics as an expectation of benefit from anyone. We set out with the love of the country completely. I do not give my right to any of them because they nullify our thoughts. I would like to thank my district presidents, members of the provincial board of directors, my dear brothers and sisters, my friends, young friends, and all my friends who were the founders who walked with me during the establishment of the party. I would like to thank my friends who are candidates for parliament. We tried to represent our party in Ordu as it suits us. However, when the result was developments that we did not want and did not think about, it ended badly.”
