In Turkey, the number of beaches with the ‘Blue Flag’, which is accepted as an indicator of clean seas, continues to increase. The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change announced that 551 beaches, 23 marinas, 14 tourism boats and 10 individual yachts won the Blue Flag awards in 2023. New beaches have been added to the beaches with the blue flag in the Marmara Region.
