The 90th anniversary of DHMİ, which works day and night to contribute to the great goal of the Century of Turkey and to realize larger projects and services, was also celebrated at Balıkesir Koca Seyit Airport.
The 90th anniversary of the State Airports Authority (DHMI) was celebrated with a ceremony at Balıkesir Koca Seyit Airport, located in Edremit district of Balıkesir. At the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, Edremit District Governor Ahmet Odabaş thanked DHMI for its good work for the country.
Later, Balıkesir Koca Seyit Airport Manager Taner Ödemiş said, “We are happy and proud to make our country the center of global aviation and our organization a world brand thanks to the power we have gained from our 90 years of glorious past and the experience we have gained and the biggest aviation projects in the history of the Republic that we have implemented. I congratulate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of all members of the DHMI family, who work day and night to contribute to greater projects and services, and wish them continued success.”
Ödemiş also thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Transport and Infrastructure Minister İsmail Karaibrahimoğlu, and DHMI General Manager Hüseyin Keskin for their unwavering support on this path.
After the speeches, the 90th anniversary cake was cut with the children and a folk dance show was held. – BALIKESIR
