Tunceli Governor’s Office stated that all actions and activities except official holidays, ceremonies, celebrations and events organized by public institutions and organizations are banned for 15 days, effective from 24 November. In a statement made by the Governor’s Office on the subject, “In order to prevent provocative events that may threaten the social peace, to protect the safety of life and property of our citizens, to maintain the atmosphere of peace and security, Articles 17 and 19 of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911 and 11 of the Law No. 5442 on Provincial Administration. Press release, meeting and demonstration march, rally, open meeting, protest action, sit-in, planned to be held in all public areas throughout the province of Tunceli, excluding official holidays, ceremonies, celebrations and events to be organized by public institutions and organizations in accordance with the provisions of Article . commemoration programs, opening stands, organizing signature campaigns, organizations such as concerts and festivals, as well as actions and activities such as hanging banners and posters, lighting torches, will be banned for 15 days from 00:01 on 24 November 2022 to 23.59 on 8 December 2022. Any action/activity that will be done without permission is not allowed.
