Telegram went to discount on Premium fee in Turkey

Telegram’s Premium service, which has been published recently, has been discounted in Turkey prices.

Telegram, a cross-platform messaging app for smartphones and computers, broke a new record a few months ago, surpassing 1 billion downloads on the Google Play store.

The Russia-based application, which reaches more users with its use on personal computers with iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems, has switched to a paid subscription.

Turkey price was quite expensive

Until now, users had to pay 94.99 TL per month to subscribe to Telegram Premium. Telegram Premium global price is $5.

Telegram has discounted

Telegram announced that the Premium fee has been re-priced for Turkey in a message it sent to users.

After the discount, which is valid for both Android and iOS versions, Telegram Premium can be purchased for 13.99 TL per month.

Telegram aims to increase the number of Premium users with the subscription fee determined specifically for Turkey.

Features that are free on Telegram will still remain free, but those who pay for premium will get additional features, faster speeds, and more resources.


Paid Telegram features

Among the features that will come with the paid version; There will be features such as increased upload limit up to 4GB, unlimited download/upload speed, up to 20 public folders created for groups and channels, the option to join up to 1000 channels, and a pin limit of up to 10 chats.

Telegram Premium users will have a badge on their profile and will be able to use animated avatars.

Features such as voice to text transcription, special stickers for Premium subscribers, new emojis and animated profile photos will also be available in Telegram Premium.
