Are female doctors more successful?

--

A new study conducted at the famous University of California in the USA showed that female doctors are more successful.
I’m talking about serious research. Healthcare data of more than 458 thousand female and more than 319 thousand male patients in the USA between 2016 and 2019 were examined.
According to Indepentent Turkish, the mortality rate of female patients treated by female doctors was 8.15 percent, while the rate of those treated by male physicians was 8.38 percent.
Additionally, the mortality rate for male patients treated by female doctors was found to be 10.15 percent; This is lower than the rate of 10.23 percent for those treated by male physicians.
The same pattern was seen in hospital readmission rates in the study.
Scientists considered these rates a “clinically significant” difference.
When it comes to human life, 0.23 percent difference is important!
So, what is the reason for this difference?

According to the experts who conducted the research, the findings show that male and female physicians apply medical practices differently and that these differences have a significant impact on patients’ health outcomes.
It is stated that this difference may be related to male doctors underestimating the seriousness of their female patients’ health problems.
Male doctors are said to underestimate their female patients’ pain levels and stroke risk, leading to delayed or incomplete treatment.
In addition, female doctors’ ability to communicate better with their female patients increases the likelihood that patients will tell them key information about the disease.
In addition, female patients can talk more comfortably and in detail with female doctors during sensitive examinations.
In other words, sincere and accurate communication increases the success of the treatment.
It should not be forgotten that men are generally more successful in treatments that require surgery, thanks to their physical superiority!
However, the fact that men are more careless and carefree than women, even if they are doctors, seems to increase the number of patient deaths.
Of course, more research results are needed on this subject.

SHELTER RIGHT
Demet Akalın said, “Today, four people go somewhere and the bill comes to 3-4 thousand liras. My tenant lives in my house for 5 thousand liras. If someone else lives for 25 thousand liras and mine lives for 5 thousand liras, I am a victim. I worked day and night to buy that house.”
Since he was famous, the tenant problem became a hot topic.

Hadi Akalın does not need 5 thousand lira rent. What will happen if the rents of those who work and save for years to buy a second home melt away against inflation?
Many people buy second homes in order to not be dependent on anyone in retirement and to earn side income.
Of course, there are also those with 20, 30 or more houses. The real problem starts here when housing turns into an investment tool!
However, housing should be people’s most natural right, but the economic system is structured in such a way that people have to work for years and save money in order to own an apartment.
Transforming the need for housing into rent through urbanization is one of the first steps in the transition to modern wage slavery.
Otherwise, since its existence, human beings have been able to solve the problem of sheltering first in caves and then with houses made of mud bricks and trees.
The transformation of housing into an instrument of investment and income is the main problem of the world. Of course, there are economic reasons for this, such as land and construction costs.
Still, it is a strange and tragic situation that a person spends his whole life working to buy a 90 square meter house.
Human beings, who were planning to settle on Mars, could create a civilization where accommodation was free with the technology and resources they had.
However, then, ‘surplus value’, which is the basis of the capitalist system, could not be created with people whose shelter and food needs were met.

TO THE ONE WHO HAS A CHILD 2 MILLION TL!
South Korea has the world’s lowest fertility rate. The number of deaths has exceeded the birth rate in the country for the last three years.
The government also plans to pay 100 million won (about 2.40 million TL) in cash to parents for each baby born, in order to increase the birth rate.

The primary reason for low birth rates is Korean couples’ frustration with the rising cost of living and declining quality of life.
The fertility rate in Turkey has been decreasing gradually in recent years.
While it was 2.38 children in 2001, it increased to 1.62 children in 2022.
Policies that will increase the fertility rate should be put into effect in our country.

OFF-FIELD FACTORS!
The scandal came with a bang. Despite all the warnings and calls for fair football, Fenerbahçe lost two very valuable points against Sivasspor with a wrong penalty decision.
Fenerbahçe wanted a foreign referee. There are also those who said, “Here, get a foreign referee.” This is not a two week issue! A foreign referee was requested months ago.

We were just saying that it is not easy to find the most successful VAR referee, and that the free country determines the referees at the beginning of the season.
But TFF managed to bring in even a low-quality foreign VAR referee! Maybe they wanted to give the message, “It doesn’t work with foreign referees.”
I look at the football commentators and the president and coach are again held responsible. Of course, they also had a share in the failure, but the real reason is that Fenerbahçe lost due to off-field factors!
Many famous commentators such as Rıdvan Dilmen and Ahmet Çakar have already said that this is so!
That’s why I advise you to be skeptical of commentators who hold Fenerbahce coaches solely responsible at the end of each season!

“Do you know that we don’t forget anyone? We carry what we lost on our backs like a sack. We are like porters, my son. We thank, we curse, we are patient, but they wander around our minds like foxes. The one who dies is the same, the one who leaves is the same. You remember both as dreams.” (Mountain)
