Ankara-based chocolate manufacturer Patiswiss became a trending topic on social media as a result of a “mouldy chocolate” post on social media.

The company’s chairman of the board, Elif Aslı Yıldız Tunaoğlu, said to the user who shared the mentioned post, “The giant Migros and us are against you.”

Patiswiss CEO Elif Aslı Yıldız Tunaoğlu announced that she resigned from her position after her response to the moldy chocolate post.

Posting on his social media account, Tunaoğlu said, “As a reflection of my sincere apology, I am leaving my position as Chairman of the Board of Directors.”

According to the statement made on Patiswiss’ official accounts, Ali Sinan Tunaoğlu was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

The statement said:

“As a result of the Board of Directors meeting held on 23.04.2024, it was decided to appoint Ali Sinan Tunaoğlu as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. This decision will be announced in the Trade Registry Gazette.”
