Can, who lives in Afetevleri District, delivered the carpets in his house to a company in Doğan District to be washed. While examining the carpets, business owner Azğan discovered a bag containing approximately 60 thousand lira of gold.
Azğan, known for his honesty, immediately reported the situation to Can and stated that he was ready to deliver the gold. After confirming the color and content of the bag, Can went to Azğan’s workplace and received the gold.
Can said, “They said they found jewelry in the carpets. My wife said it belonged to us. I called the business owner back and asked about the amount and the color of the bag. I told him that there were 10 quarters and 1 Republic gold coin in a red bag. Then he said, ‘You can come and get it.’ He expressed his gratitude to Azğan by saying, “I came and received it. I thank him very much.”
