WHO IS HAFİZE GAYE ERKAN?
Hafize Gaye Erkan, born in 1982, graduated from Istanbul Boys’ High School with the second place, and the Boğaziçi Industrial Engineering Department with a record score. Erkan became the first student in the history of Princeton University, where he studied with a full scholarship, to complete his doctorate in one year. Erkan graduated from Boğaziçi University’s Industrial Engineering Department with the first rank, and completed his doctorate in Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University. Joining the Board of Directors of Fortune 500 firm Marsh McLennan in March 2022, Erkan served as Tiffany & Co. from 2019 until the company was acquired by LVMH in 2021. He served on the Board of Directors. He also serves on the Advisory Council for the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University.
In 2019, she was named to Crain’s Notable Women in Banking and Finance list and to the American Banker’s Women to Watch list. In 2018, he was selected to the San Francisco Business Times’ 40 Under 40 and Crain New York Business’s 40 Under 40 lists.
