Stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul on a weekly basis decreased by 2.83 percent, the selling price of gold by 1.02%, euro/TL depreciated by 2.28%, and dollar/TL gained 0.73%.

BIST 100 index, after seeing the lowest point of 3,149.68 and the highest point of 3,393.66, closed the week at 3,281.61 points, decreasing by 2.83 percent compared to the previous week’s closing.

QUARTER REDUCED TO 1,600 LIRA

The selling price of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar fell to 975 liras with a 1.02 percent depreciation this week, and the sales price of the Republic gold decreased by 1.02 percent to 6,533 liras. The sales price of quarter gold, which was 1,615 liras last weekend, fell to 1,600 liras.

DOLLAR PASSES EURO

This week, the US dollar appreciated by 0.73 percent to 18,4150 liras, while the euro decreased by 2.28 percent to 17,9000 liras. Mutual funds lost 0.21% and private pension funds fell 0.21% this week. According to their categories, “Participation Funds” was the highest earner among mutual funds with 0.53 percent.
