Siirt 9th Book Fair has ended
SİİRT – SiirtThe 9th Siirt Book Fair, which opened on April 17 with the theme “So that Children Read”, has ended.
While 60 distinguished authors and 100 publishing houses participated in the 9th Book Fair hosted by Siirt Governorship, interviews, autograph sessions and various activities for children were organized by the authors throughout the fair.
Yusuf Emre Şeker stated that there should be continuity of events like this; “Today, I came to the 23 April book fair to buy books. This is the 9th fair in Siirt. Of course, we want more such fairs to be held. Because it is a nice event. Reading books is also my hobby, and I bought myself a nice history book. More such events should be held.” It would be great. Thank you to everyone who contributed.” said.
Author Metin Baytok, who attended the fair; “Greetings to everyone, we are in Siirt. We are at the ninth Siirt Book Fair. Today is April 23, so I congratulate the 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day from here once again. Happy birthday, friends. There is a great interest in the Siirt book fair. It has been going on for this week. Siirt “We met really friendly and sincere students and people here. I am very happy to come here as a writer.” he said.
