The Ministry took action: Inspection of the hotel that charged Turkish customers too much

A hotel in Antalya charged a “nationality difference fee” of 120 euros from a Turkish citizen who made a reservation from a foreign site.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism took action upon these allegations.

In the statement made on the ministry’s social media account, the following statements were used:

“Regarding the hotel reservation that took place in a hotel in Antalya and was reflected on social media, our Ministry requested the hotel’s official defense and a controller was appointed for the inspection. Following the inspection and inspection to be carried out at the hotel, the necessary penal action will be taken in accordance with the legal legislation.”
